Ultimately, everything pulls together into one tight, true flying machine.
The special bevels inside the tip of the Innerloc® broadhead match mating bevels machined on the top of the ferrule. As the tip is tightened the bevels mesh and push all the parts inward to eliminate any gap left in the assembly (this is illustrated at the left by tightening the tip onto the body without using blades). The result is parts that are touching with enough pressure to perform very much like a solid piece of steel. This is the collet-like technology that machine tools use to precisely hold tools and work pieces. No other broadhead locks together as tightly as Innerloc®.
